Colombia - Madre Laura
This coffee is from the town of Jerico, Antioquia, and home to Colombia’s only canonized saint, Madre Laura (or Mother Laura).
The town maintains a rich coffee culture but had limited access to resources. In 2016, Campesino, a farm-direct sourcing company from Colombia, set up their main warehouse in Jerico, providing a new option to the farmers to sell their coffee at a much higher price. This blend is made up of 20+ local farms and growing, each lot cupped regularly to find the perfect balance that best represents the town of Jerico and its distinct profile.
You can expect a clean and silky body with notes of white grapes, caramel, orange, honey, and a dark chocolate finish.
